Edward “Nappoo” Tabije was born in LA and raised one hour away in Victorville, California. Growing up, Nappoo was surrounded and influenced by music. With his father being a drummer in a former band, there were plenty of instruments around the house to build a foundation and spark some musical interest. Nappoo would soon develop a rhythmic ear, and grow a desire to make music under his own creativity, and through his own explorations.
Nappoo strives to follow in the footsteps of producers he grew up idolizing and listening to: Jay Dee, DJ Premier, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kanye West, and 9th Wonder among producers. You can definitely hear the influence in his production, and hopefully hear the drive and the determination put into each track.
